Whirlpool W11577195 OEM Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly

The Refrigerator Ice Maker Assembly receives water from the water inlet valve and then holds the water in the ice mold until the water freezes solid. It then automatically ejects the ice and refills to continue the process until the ice storage is full. This part is designed to be used with select Whirlpool®, Kenmore®, Maytag®, KitchenAid®, and JennAir® refrigerators; check to see if your model number is compatible. Replacing this part will require basic hand tools, some disassembly of the appliance and novice repair experience. You must unplug the appliance or shut off the house circuit breaker before installing this part. Also turn off the refrigerator's water supply before you begin.
