An awesome, so well made, vintage Japanese lightweight 20x50 that has been cleaned internally for fantastic views. Picture shows top of pine tree 200+ yards away across the lake we live on taken from the kitchen table.
THIS SET REQUIRES DEDICATION! Since there is no factory provided method of attaching to a tripod, and considering its svelte frame and lightweight, it was meant to be used freehand. Suitable for terrestrial use on flora and fauna and our moon through this set will blow your mind! There are universal mounts for it should you want to go star gazing where a tripod WILL be required.
Most charge $100 just for a cleaning! Besides wiping prisms of haze producing film, I also blacked the inner facing sides of the covered lower sides of the bottom prisms. Inner surfaces of objectives and oculars also taken care of. Focuser and right diopter lubed.
Case in great shape, conditiioned, and bin has all four logo lens caps. Bin chassis also conditiioned. A real bargain.
