STARFIRE TALEX EP Gear Oils are heavy-duty extreme-pressure industrial gear lubricants blended from highly refined bases stocks and extreme pressure (EP) additives, plus rust, oxidation, and foam inhibitors. The sulfur-phosphorous based EP additives provide increased film strength to offer excellent anti- friction and anti-wear capabilities. STARFIRE TALEX EP Gear Oils are intended for use in industrial gear boxes, heavily loaded gears and spur, helical, bevel, and worm gear configurations subject to heavy or shock loading in industrial equipment. They can also be recommended for use in gear systems incorporated in cement mills, ball mills, crushers, hoists, winches, and marine equipment.
