extremely RARE size "Syrix Aruanus" Sea Shell
almost 24" long!!! And Approximately 11 inches wide!!!
The largest record was 29.3 inches!! This Shell belongs to the largest species of crustaceans, a sea snail , very desirable to the Shell enthusiast and avid collectors. the typical sizes available these days are between 12- 16 inches occasionally 18" can be found for between $145 - $175 and $225 for those close to 18" respectively. however the price goes up considerably as the size increases" 19" are in the $375-$500 range
over 20" ? 21" " 22" $750 or more for 23" and 24" and up can and do sell for close to $1000 !! ive included some listings of other sites for reference, its difficult to find prices for the size offered here because this size rarely comes up for purchase! I feel this is a good opportunity for someone to invest in this specimen as the large ones of this size are almost never offered up for sale.
