Silver City Flanders 25th Anniversary 14 1/4" 4 Footed Torte Cake Plate
I have for sale a beautiful 14.25" plate by Silver City in the Flanders pattern. It has 4 feet on the bottom, rolled-up ruffled/scalloped edges, and a silver floral overlay. It is very clear and bright with no chips or flakes. It has very few light scratches or signs of use; it's truly a lovely vintage find; everyone who has seen it says "Wow, that is beautiful!" as the combination of the glossy glass and the silver trimming really makes it shine! The bottom of the feet are a little scuffed. I polished the silver overlay, but it probably needs some more polish to look perfect. It would make an awesome cake plate in my opinion. It weighs about 3lbs and 12oz, and so will be packed carefully in a large box.
