The NCAA games will no longer be created by EA. 2014 was the last year. EA Sports has released a "college football game" but it does not have the stamp of approval of the NCAA. If you're just looking to play a game , then I would say go for it! But if you're a collector, you understand that "NCAA" on it matters. I'm sure the new EA College football game is fun, complete with the EA buy-ins, pay-to-play dlc, and mandatory Playstation online membership. It is not an NCAA item/franchise game, however. In short, the difference lies in; as far as the NCAA is concerned, college players getting paid to play the game while they should be focused on acedemics, vs. just playing college ball like it's been for decades, no payment. I get A LOT of questions about why this game is priced this way, and I don't have time to educate everyone. Such questions will be referred back to this listing. Thanks so much for viewing this item!
