"FEED THE BONGOS"
The mountain bongo, a species unique to Kenya, is an endangered species with only about 70 wild individuals remaining. They are the largest of the Bovidae family, and their numbers have been drastically decreasing year by year due to poaching. The Mt. Kenya Wildlife Conservancy is conducting breeding activities to increase their numbers. Kangarui supports the "Save the Bongo Project," and a portion of the sales is used to support the endangered mountain bongo breeding project.
