The Apple [Demo] iPod Radio Remote enables you to enjoy the radio function on the iPod nano 1G, nano 2G & 3G (aluminum), the video and the classic. The Radio Remote plugs into the dock connection and runs off the power of your iPod. Station tuning appears on the iPod color display. Functions that the remote controls include slideshow, video and music playback, volume, changing tracks in a playlist, switching radio stations and turning the radio on or off.
A set of Apple Earphones, that are a few inches shorter than standard earphones, come with the remote. You can plug these into the minijack port on the remote. The remote attaches to your clothing or bag keeping it convenient for use when you're on the go. When listening to a station that supports the Radio Data System (RDS) the song title, artist or radio station information will appear on the iPod display. The iPod Radio Remote supports stations between 87.5 - 107.9 MHz (U.S. & Europe).
