The cover is old, so please dispose of it upon receipt.

・It may not charge even when the charger is plugged in. In most cases, charging starts by unplugging and plugging it back in.
I contacted the Apple customer center and had it diagnosed, and they said there was no problem with the software, so it is likely a hardware issue.
