In order to dilute our Hypochlorous Acid, deionized water is the top choice. Dilution can be used to obtain a lower chlorine residual (500 FAC) than currently present in the stock hypochlorous acid jug. To dilute, you will need the following information to determine how much: Initial concentration, volume of the stock solution you want to start with, final concentration needed, final volume needed. Add deionized water to the hypochlorous acid to reach desired dilution. For Quick Reference: Add 5 oz of our hypochlorous acid to 1G of deionized water to reach ~20 ppm FAC. Add 25 oz of our hypochlorous acid to 100 oz of deionized water to reach ~100 ppm FAC.
