HID Global's pivCLASS RK40 wall switch with keypad contactless reader is suitable for use in security areas meeting the FIPS-201 criteria for Controlled access and is intended to support the use of a personal identification number (PIN) entered via a keypad and sent directly to a panel or door controller (PIN matched at panel, not on card).
