Card-check-note file cabinets provide the greatest security with the flexibility that your filing systems require. It features six drawers for storing notes, checks, and cards. The file cabinet has went through exhaustive testing procedures passing both fire and explosion hazard tests conducted by underwriters laboratories, which expose the file to temperatures of 1700 degrees for one hour resulting in the internal temperature not exceeding 350 degrees. The file has oven-dried Gypsum insulation that is asbestos-free and will maintain protection properties for a lifetime, and completely eliminate corrosion. An electrostatic powder coated finish is applied to all sides including the Bottom. The finish is scratch-resistant, providing a lifetime quality appearance. It has field-replaceable steel panels that can be easily replaced in the event that any panel is damaged. Insulation between all drawers makes each drawer a separate insulated container. Drawer bodies are built with high sides for use with hanging folders – no additional frames are required. It features a two-position drawer catch, which allows access to certain drawers, while drawers containing sensitive information remain locked. The file is equipped with a ul listed high-security medeco lock. This lock resists picking and drilling, and keys cannot be duplicated except through Fireking. This means access to your vital records is limited to authorized key holders only. Fireking limited lifetime warranty on all mechanical or operable parts. Associated labor costs will be paid by Fireking for two years from the date of purchase.
