This jacket was custom made for my mother in the early 1980's at Native Jackets in Santa Fe, NM. It was the first time anyone had ever asked for the pattern to be used vertically instead of horizontally. Over the years my mom had six custom made Pendleton blanket coats made at Native Jackets, and only stopped because they closed the business. She is gone, and sadly most of them don't fit me, so I am slowly allowing myself to part with them. This jacket is the oldest since it was the first made, and reversible, so it does have some minor visible wear, but it is still an absolutely gorgeous jacket that will get you tons of compliments. I can attest to that. People complimented her on these gorgeous coats very often.
