Bruce Springsteen - "The River"

This is the 1980 Double-LP Release on Columbia Records (PC2-36854). I rated the Jacket as Very Good Plus (Still in Shrinkwrap). Both Vinyl discs are rated as Near Mint. It includes the 4-Page Booklet with Photos, Lyrics and Credits. The album was Springsteen's attempt to make a record that captured the E Street Band's live sound. It is a heartland rock and rock and roll record with a live garage-band sound, combining party songs with introspective ballads. The album was a commercial success, becoming Springsteen's first album to reach number one on the Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart. It also became his fastest-selling album yet, selling 1.6 million copies in the US by Christmas 1980. Songs include "The Ties That Bind", "Two Hearts", "Hungry Heart", "Out In The Street", "Point Blank", "Cadillac Ranch", "Fade Away", "Ramrod", and of course "The River". And as always both Vinyls have been Spin Cleaned and Vacuumed with a Pro-Ject Record Cleaning Machine.
