So, to build a jacket with missile-like strength and the comfort of your favorite tracksuit, Vollebak had to reengineer the material. They worked 180 meters of carbon fiber filaments into spirals and wrapped them around an elastane core. Woven into a visible grid, the coils expand and compress like high-strength springs, creating an abrasion-resistant shell with extreme four-way stretch. It's cut with an athletic silhouette and zip-up front for versatile layering, while a water-repellent treatment keeps light rain at bay
