Oak 4-Shelf Etagere in Gray or Bleach Cerused, Bertram Collection

An ultimately elegant piece, the Bertram Etagere, comes in a light gray straight grain cerused oak or a natural bleached cerused oak with one hand-cast brushed brass drawer pull and sabot details. The shelving unit has one drawer for hidden storage and four open shelves for displaying decorative objects or books. Each shelf’s veneer top is chevron-patterned: carefully selected and laid by hand to highlight the oak grain’s intricate markings. The posts are hand-carved, made of quarter-sawn solid oak, and expertly sanded to taper with double-sided coving. Notice the coving detail carried to the bottom of each shelf. The oak Bertram Etagere is ultimately elegant, measuring around 68 inches in height. Float it in a room—as all sides of Bungalow 5 furniture are finished—or nestle it up against a wall with decorative bookends to act as a library.
