For AprilAire E-Series Dehumidifier installations near the location of a drain, this drainage parts kits allows to you quickly and easily attach drain tubing to your dehumidifer so that condensate water can flow to the drain pipe. Kit includes 10 feet of clear PVC drain tubing, which can be cut to a shorter length if needed, and the threaded fitting needed for securely attaching the hose to the body of the dehumidifier. Compatible with all AprilAire E-Series Dehumidifier models including E070, E080, E100, E130 and variations of those models with casters, feet, hardwiring, etc. No tools needed for installation - hand tighten only. The drain hose features a 3/4 inch inner diameter to ensure good drainage flow capacity from the dehumidifier. AprilAire recommends installing the tubing where you can ensure a constant downward slope from the dehumidifier to the drain. Also, do not allow soft tubing to curl up which may result in air lock.
