American Bisque

Collect this rustic American Bisque "Churn" Cookie Jar, American hand crafted ceramic collectible, 1950's, Made in U.S.A.

Produced in the 1950's by American Bisque, makes this cookie jar especially sought after by collectors, not just because of its age, but the fine craftsmanship for the American Bisque company.

The jar represents a brown wooden churn, complete with steel looking straps around the wood planks. On the front of the jar is a small vine with two bright violet flowers. This all American jar really reminds us of a time when people had to work hard if they wanted something as simple as some butter around their kitchen.

Standing approximately 10 inches tall with the lid and 7 inches tall without the lid, the base measures approximately 7 1/2 inches wide at the bottom and 5 inches at the mouth. Inside chips but can’t be seen with lid. For age good condition.
