This is BEAUTIFUL costume jewelry! As told by a jeweler, this is NOT gold or even gold plated … but a beautiful golden statement piece! I can tell you that I have owned this piece since the late 1980’s. It has held up through anything on the skin; oils, perfumes, lotions, hairspray, etc. The jeweler did state that it is in GREAT CONDITION! I have included a photo of the clasp. There is only one clasp and it is easy to put on yourself. All of my items come from a SMOKE FREE and PET FREE home. If you have any questions, please ask. Enjoy :)
